Decorating Time

So, the apple goody is in the oven and the boys just got down from the wet roof putting up the Halloween lights. Pumpkin pie and cool whip are ready. The new neighbors came over to say hello and the old neighbors and over and the kids are running around wild. It's a great day.

We went to church this morning and stayed for the luncheon. On the way home Leo said that they talked about going to a quiet place in your home to talk to God. Leo asked me where a quiet place would be. Unfortunately that doesn't exist except maybe in our bathroom. maybe. So he proclaimed that he wants his own room. This isn't the first time he's said that. His sister is a slob and I feel badly for him. We got to talking about how we would have our rooms would be decorated and Mazie said she would have a bed like mine (she meant "made" but I doubt that will happen). Then I suggested that if we got a bigger home someday with our own rooms maybe we could have a special room or space for our prayer bench. Mazie suggested the prayer room would be pink and white striped and Leo exclaimed that this would totally clash with the prayer bench and prayer rooms must be brown. So there you have it.
